29 April 2027 – Greek Myths All Around Us: Mythological Symbols In Western Life

In this session, we’ll explore the symbolic language of myths and archetypes, highlighting everyday Western examples rooted in Greek mythology. We will examine the Greek Gods, revealing their philosophical meanings and the lasting influence of these ancient symbols on modern culture and thought.

 

 

06 May 2027 – Greek Heroes and Their Impact on Culture and Psychology

Here, we explore the ancient Greek concept of the hero through the stories of Perseus and Medusa. We’ll examine what defines heroism, how these figures reflect universal human experiences, and their lasting influence on Western culture, including psychology.

 

 

13 May 2026 Who Is the God Eros and What Does He Represent?

Today, we explore the God Eros and his true meaning in ancient Greek mythology, uncovering why he has been misunderstood in the Western world. Through the myths of Psyche and Eros, Narcissus, and Echo, we reveal his deeper philosophical and symbolic significance.

 

 

20 May 2027 Eleusinian Mysteries and The Myth of Persephone

When the Byzantines brutally banned the Eleusinian Mysteries and executed their priests, the last priest, Evolpides, warned that humanity would sink into darkness. Was his prophecy fulfilled? This session explores the historical, philosophical, and cultural impact of this cultural crime—and whether its devastating consequences still shadow civilization today.

 

 

27 May 2027 – The Journey to our Highest Self

Striving toward our highest self does not guarantee success; failure is often part of the journey. The myths of Phaethon and Bellerophon reflect this universal struggle, portraying archetypal tragic heroes whose ambition led to downfall. Yet their stories remind us of the enduring need to rise, try again, and evolve.

 

 

03 June 2027 – Pandora and Prometheus

Delve into the enduring myths of Pandora and Prometheus. Was Pandora’s action inevitable, and what does it truly signify? Did Prometheus empower humanity—or seal its fate? This thought-provoking session explores the deeper meanings behind these ancient stories and their continued relevance in the modern world through discussion and reflection.

 

 

10 June 2027 – In the Shadow of the Labyrinth: The Minotaur, Icarus and Daedalus

Journey into the myths of the Minotaur, Icarus, and Daedalus. What does the Minotaur truly represent? What makes Icarus and Daedalus tragic heroes? Through discussion and interpretation, this session examines themes of identity, ambition, and consequence in these powerful stories—and why they continue to resonate in the modern world.

 

 

17 June 2027 – Don’t Look Back’ Orpheus & Euridice

Explore the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice through the lens of ancient Greek philosophy. What deeper truths does it reveal? How does it connect to Plato’s Allegory of the Cave? This session invites reflection on love, loss, illusion, and enlightenment in one of mythology’s most haunting and profound tales.
